This dish is simply pure pleasure and benefits. I fell in love with this soup from the first spoonful! Delicious, the recipe is not difficult, and quickly, and the taste is excellent. And how useful it is! Lentils contain 26% protein and that's not all its advantages, be sure to make this lentil soup. You can use any type of lentils. A very beautiful soup is obtained from red lentils.

Lentils
1.5 cups
Meat broth
1.5 liters (chicken)
Tomatoes
3 pcs.
Tomato juice
1/2 cup
Garlic

Sweet pepper

Olive oil
1 tbsp.
Butter
1 tbsp.
Salt

Black pepper
ground, to taste

1/5 tsp (ground red)

To prepare the lentil purée soup, chop the garlic, finely chop the onion and sweet pepper.
In a saucepan, heat olive oil and add garlic, fry it for just a few seconds and add butter. When it melts, add the vegetables and fry until transparent.
Add the lentils and fry them slightly with the vegetables.
Then pour in the broth and cook until the lentils are soft.
My lentils were cooked for 25 minutes, it all depends on the type of lentils (red lentils cook faster).
Make cross cuts on the tomatoes, dip them in boiling water for a few seconds. Remove the skin and chop the flesh. Chop the tomatoes together with the tomato juice in a blender.
Canned tomatoes in their own juice can be used.
After the lentils have softened, add the tomatoes and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
The lentils should be soft, but not turn into mush.
Blend the lentil soup, but not for long, to keep the texture.
Lentil purée soup is garnished with herbs, drops of olive oil, and chili flakes (optional) when serving.
