Recipe for this lean dough is quite simple and will take very little time to prepare, it will be useful for the hostesses during fasting days. The dough turns out to be neutral in taste, and you can make bread, pies, pastries, and kulebyaka from it.
Flour
5 cups
Yeast
1.7 oz (fresh)
Salt
1 tsp
Water
2 cups
Sugar
0.25 cup
Sunflower Oil
5 tbsp (refined)
To prepare unleavened yeast dough with boiled water, combine sugar, salt, sunflower oil, and 0.5 cups of flour. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over this mixture and mix well. Set aside to cool to a warm state.
Dissolve yeast in a separate bowl by adding 1 cup of warm water.
Add the dissolved yeast to the mixture from earlier, mix well. Then add flour.
Knead the dough. Unleavened yeast dough is ready and you can start working with it!
