Pizza Dough

Pizza Dough - фото рецепта
The classic recipe for Italian pizza dough is very simple and does not require any special skills. The ingredients needed to make the dough are usually found in every kitchen: flour, water, salt, sugar, yeast, and olive oil. Additionally, you will only need to give the warmth of your hands as well as yeast dough for the pizza to be 'alive' and not to 'suffer' from drafts and haste.
Water
1 cup (warm)
Flour
2 cups
Yeast
2 tsp (dry or 0.8 oz fresh)
Salt
1.5 tsp (sea salt)
Sugar
1 tbsp (preferably cane)
Olive Oil
3 tbsp (extra virgin)
To prepare the pizza dough, dissolve the yeast in a small amount of warm water with sugar and let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
Sift the flour into a bowl (or onto a work surface), mix it with salt. Then pour the yeast mixture into it and add the olive oil.
Knead the soft dough, this will take 5-7 minutes, the dough should become elastic.
Place the dough in a bowl greased with oil, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 45-60 minutes. When the dough has risen, divide it into two equal parts. If you like a larger and thicker pizza, then there is no need to divide the dough. Roll out the pizza dough by hand. To do this, place the dough on a floured surface and begin to stretch it. Press lightly in the center and stretch the dough into a circle, leaving the edges slightly thicker.
The pizza will be tastier if you grease the pan with olive oil and sprinkle it with flour. Before adding the toppings, sprinkle the base with olive oil, this will keep the pizza dough from getting soggy if the toppings are juicy. If you are using a thick sauce, this step can be skipped. Bake the pizza in the oven for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
