This salad turns out hearty, slightly spicy, and will be a perfect appetizer with strong drinks. The recipe uses quite a lot of onion, but its spiciness is lost thanks to the dressing, making it pickled. The salad is very delicious and especially suitable for cold winter days when you crave something fatty, rich, and spicy.

Potatoes
4 pcs
Sausage
3.5 oz (smoked)
Mustard
1 tsp (French, whole grain)
Red Onion
1 pc (large)
Cucumbers
2 pcs (pickled)
Dill
0.7 oz
For the dressing:
Olive Oil
4 tbsp
Mustard
1 tsp (French, whole grain)
Salt
to taste
Vinegar
1 tbsp (white wine)
Black Pepper

To prepare German Potato Salad, first boil the potatoes in their skins. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the other salad ingredients. Cut the sausage into strips.
Slice the onion into thin half rings.
Slice the cucumber into thin slices.
Now, prepare the dressing for the German Potato Salad. To do this, simply mix all the ingredients: olive oil, salt, pepper, mustard, and vinegar.
When the potatoes are ready, cool them (until warm), peel, and cut into large slices.
Place all the prepared ingredients in a convenient container, dress the salad, and mix.
