A very quick, delicious, and healthy recipe. It can be served as a standalone dish or as a side to meat or poultry. The main star here is definitely the cabbage, it turns out very tasty with a smoky flavor, no bitter aftertaste, just exquisite. Feel free to use any oil you prefer, swap tomatoes and sweet peppers for cucumbers and radishes, sesame seeds can be replaced with pumpkin seeds, for example. In general, experiment, it will definitely be delicious!

Pepper
ground black
Rosemary
Thyme
Sweet Pepper
Tomatoes
Salad Mix
(e.g., a mix of romaine, frisee, radicchio, etc.) or other greens of your choice
Sesame Seeds

Balsamic Sauce

To prepare oven-baked cabbage, cut the cabbage into large pieces about 2 cm thick. Carefully stack them to prevent the pieces from falling apart.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the prepared cabbage. Season with salt to taste and sprinkle with herbs.

Bake the cabbage in an oven preheated to 390°F until done. It took me about 40 minutes. The cabbage should turn golden and become tender. If using an electric oven, use the traditional top-bottom baking mode.

Cut the sweet pepper and tomato into pieces, as desired.

Mix them with salad leaves.

Arrange the cabbage on a plate, top with salad leaves with vegetables, and add sesame seeds.

Add a little salt, olive oil, and balsamic sauce. Our oven-baked cabbage is ready, healthy and delicious!
