These incredibly delicious bell peppers are very easy to make! The recipe is simple, yet the result is a fantastic appetizer, especially with meat. It is best to use a red fleshy variety of pepper, as it has a special taste and aroma. These peppers can be served hot or cold. They can be added to vegetable salads or used in sandwiches. Additionally, the peppers can be canned for the winter, small jars with screw-on lids work well for this purpose. 1 kg of peppers yields one 12 oz jar.
Sweet bell peppers
2.25 lbs
Sea salt
1 tsp (coarse)
Garlic
2-3 cloves
Thyme
1 tsp
Rosemary
3-4 sprigs
Olive oil
7/8 cup
To prepare baked sweet bell peppers, wash them, remove the seeds, and cut each into 4 parts. Place the peppers on a baking sheet, sprinkle with herbs, add peeled garlic, season with salt, and drizzle with olive oil.
Place the peppers in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour. That's it!
You can sprinkle the ready peppers with a little vinegar and mix. Serve the baked sweet bell peppers.
If you want to preserve these peppers for the winter, then place the baked peppers in hot form in clean sterilized jars, pour oil from the baking sheet over them, and seal with a lid.
