Today I have a magical light and super chocolatey banana bread. Bananas go perfectly with chocolate, enhancing its flavor. This recipe is simple and quick, the bread turns out very delicious, moist, and doesn't require any cream additions!

To prepare the chocolate banana bread, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy using a mixer on high speed.
A mixer is not necessary here, a whisk will also work, we don't need to overbeat the eggs too much, the fluffiness in this recipe comes from the baking powder and baking soda.
Reduce the mixer speed to low and add milk and oil, mix everything together.
Take one banana and set it aside, peel and mash the other two bananas with a fork. Add the bananas to the mixture and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients and add them gradually to the main mixture, mixing at low speed with the mixer.
Remove the mixer and fold the batter with a spatula, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl. Then add the chopped chocolate and mix again.
I baked the bread in a 9-inch diameter pan. Grease the pan with oil and dust it with flour. Slice the remaining banana in half and place it on top, pressing it slightly into the batter.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 350°F on the middle rack without convection for 40-50 minutes, depending on your oven. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer, if it comes out dry, the bread is ready.
The chocolate banana bread should be porous with cracks - that's how it should be, it means it's airy. You can lightly dust it with powdered sugar and it's ready to serve!
