In my childhood, this recipe was very popular. This dessert was always present on the holiday table. Especially loved by children. These days, this dessert is not as popular. Today, let's remember childhood and make an incredibly delicious chocolate sausage, especially since you don't need to bake anything and it will only take about 20 minutes to prepare.
To prepare chocolate sausage with cookies and nuts, grind half of the cookies into powder using a blender. Break the rest into small pieces.
Chop the nuts so that there are both small and large pieces.
I did this using a rolling pin. I put the nuts in a bag (preferably a sturdy one) and rolled over them until they reached the desired size.
Combine cocoa with sugar and mix well.
Add milk and mix again.
Place the resulting mixture on low heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Add diced butter.
Mix the chocolate mixture well.
Add cookies and nuts to the chocolate mixture. Gently mix. The mixture should be thick and sticky. If necessary, more cookies can be added.
Spread foil on the table, grease it with butter, and spread the chocolate mixture.
Instead of foil, you can use plastic wrap or parchment.
Roll it tightly to give it a sausage shape.
Store chocolate sausage with cookies and nuts in the refrigerator or freezer. When serving, slice the sweet sausage and serve with tea or coffee.
