A light, quick, and very economical recipe for a delicious and aromatic cake to go with tea. You can bake it in any shape like a loaf or cake. If you're not a big fan of cinnamon, you can reduce the amount. If desired, you can add some chopped nuts to the kefir semolina cake. Very quick and very tasty!

1 cup
Sugar
1 cup (200 g)
Semolina
1 cup
Butter
2 tbsp (melted)
Flour
1 cup
Baking Soda
0.5 tsp
Salt
1/4 tsp
Cinnamon
1 tbsp
To make kefir semolina cake with cinnamon, beat an egg slightly in a bowl, add kefir, sugar, semolina, melted butter, and mix. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes.
Then mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, sift all together, and add it to the previous mixture. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
Take a suitable pan (I used a round 9-inch pan), grease it with butter, and sprinkle with semolina. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes (depending on the oven).
Check for doneness with a wooden skewer, if it comes out dry, the cake is ready. Remove the finished cake from the pan and let it cool.
When serving kefir semolina cake with cinnamon, you can simply dust it with powdered sugar, serve it with jam, or preserves. I had some ready white frosting, so I covered the cake with it, and it turned out very delicious!
