An apple galette looks quite impressive and festive on the table. It's very easy to prepare and goes perfectly with coffee or tea. Despite the simplicity of the recipe, the dish is very popular in many countries around the world. Essentially, it's a variation of an apple pie. Make an apple galette - it's very delicious!
For the dough:

The recipe for apple galette is extremely simple and does not require any culinary tricks. Rub the butter and flour into crumbs (you can do it by hand or use a blender).
Then add an egg, powdered sugar, and a little water (2 tbsp.). Knead the dough and place it in the refrigerator.
Prepare the filling for the apple galette. Peel and cut the apples into small pieces. Sauté them in butter with added sugar for 3-4 minutes. The apples should become soft but not lose their shape.
Now make the crumble. Mix sugar, butter, and flour and crumble until it reaches a crumbly consistency.
Now assemble our apple galette. Roll out the dough into a circle about 0.5-0.7 inches thick. Place the apple filling in the center.
Fold the edges and sprinkle the top with the crumble. Place our pie in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
