Incredibly aromatic and spicy dish. The recipe is simple, but the combination of tender meat, cinnamon, pepper, and garlic make it exquisite. The secret lies in mustard, which makes the meat incredibly tender and juicy. If you don't like it too spicy, use half the amount of red pepper.
Pork Meat
2-2.75 lbs
Garlic
6 cloves
Cinnamon
1 tsp
Hot Pepper
1/2 tsp (ground red)
Cardamom
3-4 seeds
Olive Oil
2 tbsp
Mustard
2-3 tbsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
To prepare Cinnamon and Mustard Roasted Pork, start by preparing a spicy mixture to coat the meat. In a mortar, crush garlic, salt, cinnamon, hot pepper until well mixed. Then add 2 tbsp vegetable oil and mix well.
Now, prepare the meat. Slice it into pieces about 1 cm thick. Lightly pound it with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
Place the meat in a deep baking dish and coat it with mustard on all sides.
Then coat the pork with the prepared mixture (only on one side).
Cover the baking dish with parchment paper or foil and bake in a preheated oven at 390-410°F for 25-30 minutes (on the top shelf). Serve the Cinnamon and Mustard Roasted Pork immediately with vegetables and herbs.
