In stores, we often come across balsamic vinegar, the sauce is also available, but for some reason it costs two or even three times more. I suggest making it at home yourself, recipe, it's really simple and consists of just two ingredients: balsamic vinegar and sugar (1:1 ratio). This sauce goes well with meat, roasted vegetables, and can also be used in various marinades.

To prepare balsamic sauce, pour vinegar into a saucepan and add sugar. Place the saucepan on the stove and wait for the sugar and vinegar to come to a boil.
Be careful, do not lean in close and inhale the steam to avoid burning your mucous membranes!
Once the mixture boils, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-18 minutes. The sauce will thicken slightly but remain liquid.
To check if the sauce is ready, you can pour a teaspoon of syrup onto a plate and place it in the refrigerator. The sauce will quickly cool and have a pleasant, viscous consistency, which indicates that it is ready.
Pour the ready balsamic sauce into a glass container and store it in the refrigerator.
