Chocolate Bees with Almond Wings

Chocolate Bees with Almond Wings - фото рецепта
I used these cute bees to decorate Honey Cake 'Bee Paradise'. This simple recipe requires precision, patience, and imagination!
Chocolate
3.5 oz (1.8 oz white, 1.8 oz dark)
Heavy Cream
2 tsp (33 %)
Honey
1 tsp
Almond
To make chocolate bees with almond wings, break white and dark chocolate into small pieces and place them in two bowls. Add a teaspoon of heavy cream and ½ teaspoon of honey to each bowl.
Take the dark chocolate and melt it in a water bath or in the microwave. Then let the chocolate mass cool slightly. Meanwhile, line a cutting board with foil, which will be used to make the bees. Place the chocolate mass in a pastry bag (or use a regular A4 file, as I did) and "draw" the bees. Place them in the freezer for 3-5 minutes to set the chocolate.
Melt the white chocolate as well, place it in a file, make a small hole, and draw eyes and stripes on the black bee bases.
Cut out almond wings. Cut the almond in half with a sharp knife and carefully carve out a wing with a knife. Insert the ready wings into the bees.
This task will be much easier if you find ready-made almond petals at the store.
These cute bees with almond wings turn out. You can use them to decorate honey cakes and various desserts.
