This apple pie recipe is simple, quick to make, and will always come in handy when you need to make a fast and tasty dessert. It's best to choose firm apples with a characteristic tang for the pie. It's also a great option for an evening tea or milk.
4-5 apples (Antonovka)

1 packet (vanilla)

To prepare the apple pie, slice the apples into small slices. Grease the pan with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the apples and sprinkle them with cinnamon.
If you don't have breadcrumbs, you can use semolina.
Beat the eggs with sugar, add flour and baking powder, mix well. The consistency of the batter should be like thick sour cream. Pour the batter on top of the apples, evenly spreading it.
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick (carefully poke the pie with a toothpick all the way to the bottom - remove it, if the toothpick is dry, the pie is ready). Before serving the apple pie, generously sprinkle with powdered sugar.
