Recipe for soft and tender patties. My daughter is not a fan of oatmeal porridge or cottage cheese, but she enjoys these oatmeal patties with pleasure. They can be served with your favorite sauce, as well as with salad or vegetables.
Oatmeal Flakes
1 cup
Water
1 cup
Onion
1 pc
Butter
1/4 cup
Cottage Cheese
1 cup (full-fat, non-acidic)
Egg
1 pc
Curry Powder
1 tsp (mild)
Garlic
1 clove
Salt
to taste
Sunflower Oil
for frying
Breadcrumbs
To prepare oatmeal cottage cheese patties, pour hot water over the flakes, cover and let them swell for about 15-20 minutes. Finely chop the onion and fry it in butter. Add the onion to the oat mixture. Add curry, garlic pressed through a press. Mash the cottage cheese with a fork and add it to our mixture. Add the egg. Mix everything well.
If the mixture is too liquid, you can add 1-2 tbsp breadcrumbs or flour.
Shape oatmeal cottage cheese patties, coat them in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
