Recipe for this appetizer is very simple, yet delicious. These balls are very popular with children as they are convenient to eat, and easy and quick to prepare.
Crab Sticks
7 oz
Potatoes
3-4 medium-sized
Mayonnaise
1 tbsp
Egg
1
Lemon Juice
1 tsp
Garlic
1-2 cloves
Salt
to taste
White Pepper
ground, to taste
Cornstarch or Breadcrumbs
for coating
Sunflower Oil
for frying
To prepare Potato Balls with Crab Sticks, boil the potatoes until tender, drain the water, and mash them with a potato masher.
Finely chop the crab sticks.
Add egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper to the potatoes. Mix everything well.
If the mixture is too soft, you can add a little breadcrumbs or flour.
Shape the mixture into balls the size of a walnut, and roll each one in flour or breadcrumbs.
Fry the potato balls in hot oil until they are light golden brown. Place the cooked appetizer on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
