Chicken Drumsticks in Sweet and Sour Glaze - фото рецепта

Recipe, as always, simple and delicious, this meat looks spectacular on the table and, most importantly, it is very convenient to eat (you won't have to get your hands dirty). This meat is a great option for a buffet table, children love it very much (it is also called chicken lollipops).

Chicken Drumsticks
4-5 lbs
Garlic
0.5 head (about 3 cloves)
Curry Powder
2 tsp
Soy Sauce
1 cup
For the Sweet and Sour Glaze:
Ketchup
1 tbsp
Mustard
1 tbsp
Honey
1 tbsp
Soy Sauce
2 tbsp
Lemon Juice
2 tbsp
To prepare chicken drumsticks in sweet and sour glaze, first, wash the meat and pat it dry with paper towels. Now we need to prepare each drumstick. We need to remove the extreme bones from both sides. Take the drumstick, place the wide part of the knife on the bone, strike sharply on the knife with the base of your palm or a mallet, make an incision in the bone, and then carefully cut out the bone with a knife.
Nothing complicated, just need a little practice. For convenience, at this stage, you can wear gloves.
Now cut off the bone from the other side. First, make a circular incision, and then, as in the previous case, use the wide part of the knife and a sharp blow to cut off the bone.
Now take the drumstick and push out (squeeze out) the bone with your thumb.
Next, cut out a bunch of tendons with a knife, grabbing them well with your hand. There is no need to remove them completely, just cut them off.
This is how a neat chicken drumstick turns out, repeat the process with the rest.
Now let's make the marinade. Pour soy sauce into a large container, chop garlic into it, add curry, and mix.
Place the meat in the marinade and let it marinate for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, remove the meat from the marinade and place it on a plate, simultaneously removing the remaining garlic on the meat.
Take foil, cut it into small squares, and prepare a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper. Wrap each bone with foil and place them on the baking sheet. Try to place the drumsticks evenly so they cook uniformly. Place the baking sheet with the chicken drumsticks in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
Prepare the glaze by simply mixing all the glaze ingredients in a suitable container. The mixture should be homogeneous.
After half an hour, remove the baking sheet, do not turn off the oven. If there is a lot of water and fat in the baking sheet, you can partially remove it. Coat each drumstick with the glaze and place them back on the baking sheet. Put the baking sheet back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Flavorful and appetizing chicken drumsticks in sweet and sour glaze are ready!
