To prepare the soup with dumplings, cut the meat into small cubes, put it in a pot, pour in 14-17 cups of water, and simmer for an hour, skimming off the foam occasionally.
Prepare the vegetables for the soup with dumplings. Grate the carrots, finely chop the onions, deseed and cut the pepper into strips, and dice the potatoes.
Sauté the onions in vegetable oil, add the carrots, and sauté everything.
Prepare the dumplings for the soup. Whisk the egg slightly, add the milk, mix. Now add the flour, a little salt, and mix.
The dough should not be too thick or too runny.
Add the potatoes to the broth first, season with salt. Then add the sweet pepper and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the onions and carrots, bring the broth to a boil.
Using a teaspoon, scoop up the dough and drop it into the broth.
The dumplings will expand while cooking, so do not scoop up too much dough (1/2 tsp.)
Add bay leaf, pepper, and salt to taste to the soup with dumplings. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes and the soup is ready!
